f you ever walked into a luxury watch store with the hopes of getting a coveted time-piece but came back out empty-handed, chances are the heavy price tags were what scared you off. And when you are talking about a big watch brand like the Rolex, it may be a good idea not to walk into their stores at all if you don’t want to spend a fortune.
Founded over a century ago in 1905, the Rolex franchise has continued to evolve with watches that don’t only look good but also perform – they have the bragging rights for the first water-resistant watch with the Oyster series.
Everyone wants the idolized Rolex, but with some of their watches sitting pretty around price tags nearing $50,000 most of us will admire them from a distance.
This is why we turn to replicas. For those who want to wear a watch that looks and feels like the real thing without spending a fortune, there a couple of good Rolex replicas really worth the money.

A good replica should clone every aspect of its real version as accurately as possible and should be very affordable. The Arclanch men’s watch is one Rolex replica that does this and is one of our favorites yet. It is a crafty replica of the $11,000 classic Rolex Submariner dive watch, and at $12 on Aliexpress, it is really cheap even for a replica.

The Arlanch watch features an all-metal frame, an oyster shell design, and a chain-link strap. It comes with a dark-green dial that gives a great contrast to the white hour markers, luminescent second, minute, and hour hands, and a date counter, all like on the real watch. It also comes with a green bezel that even though needs some effort to turn, does give a satisfying sound. The portion of the crystal over the date counter is magnified and the crown is also installed on the same side and is housed inside the case, just like on the authentic watch. The Arlanch replica also comes with a shiny finish all-round and has a good weight to it you’ll feel on your hands.
The most obvious difference between the replica and the authentic Rolex submariner is that the replica doesn’t come with the Rolex label – it’s great that the company stands true to its name.
On the authentic Rolex Submariner, the dial comes with a stated 1000 feet of water resistance. The Arlanch replica only claims that it is water-resistant but like with all replicas, we don’t recommend that you submerge your watch to test this out.
The only other clear difference is that the replica comes with a normal clasp different from the patented Glidelock clasp on the authentic Rolex designed to vary in length.
So, does it keep time? Yes, it does. And does it look like a real Rolex Submariner? Yes, it does. Is it cheap? Absolutely! For a replica, the Arlanch watch is a good buy for men who want a low-end timepiece that will steal a glance or two, at the promise of a true classic that is the Rolex Submariner.
