Stonecutter can be used to craft stone-related items in smaller more accurate quantities as compared to a crafting table. Stonecutter is fully functional in Java and Bedrock editions. Follow our step-by-step guide to learn how to optimize your tool creation in Minecraft and expand your gaming knowledge.
Step-By-Step Guide
Step 1: Aquire the needed materials. In order to create the stonecutter, first, you must gather the needed items. Items needed are 1 iron ingot and 3 stones. An iron ingot is made by smelting iron in a furnace and stone is the byproduct of smelted cobblestone.
Step 2: Aquire a crafting table. If you already have a crafting table then this isn’t a big deal. If not, you must create one. To create a crafting table, take wood planks from your inventory, and create one using your character tabs.
Step 3: Add items to the crafting table. Open the crafting table window and place the ingot and stone into the empty slots on the left-hand side. The ingot and stone must be placed in the exact same way as seem in the picture below.
Step 4: Move stonecutter from the crafting table. Place your cursor over the newly created stonecutter on the right-hand side and drag it into your inventory.
Step 5: Place and use stonecutter. Move it into your action bar and use its action key. Place the stonecutter wherever you would like. It can now be used whenever you like. Add any applicable items to create much-needed tools!
