he LA Clippers lost a devastating Game 7 in unprecedented fashion to the Denver Nuggets, completely shocking the NBA world. The NBA media yearned for an LA Clippers vs LA Lakers battle but their dreams were shattered with another fantastic performance from Canadian born Jamal Murray and the skilled big man Nikola Jokic.

Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers and Clippers guard Patrick Beverley aren't exactly on great terms, and this was evident with Beverley and his teammates mocking Lillard during a regular season game in the Orlando bubble.

Lillard waited for his opportunity to strike, and tonight was the perfect opportunity. As the end of the 4th quarter went on during this game 7 and it was clear who the victor was, Damian Lillard went to Twitter to send a personal invite to Patrick Beverley, with his teammate CJ McCollum chiming in.

According to some NBA players, particularly Russell Westbrook, Patrick Beverley is more bark than bite. Westbrook's quote from earlier this season prior to the Coronavirus pandemic is something that is currently being revisited.

"Pat Bev trick y'all man, like he playing defense. He don't guard nobody man. It's just running around, doing nothing".....

The LA Clippers are going to getting absolutely slandered as everything unraveled for them from every possible angle with this loss. They blew a 3-1 lead and they won't hear the end of it for a long while. LA Clippers owner Steve Balmer and the front office have a lot of questions to answer this off season, starting with head coach Doc Rivers being on the hot seat.

We shall see how things continue to unravel towards a downward spiral for the LA Clippers as time goes on.
