The STOGA typewriter keyboard is equipped with 87 keys each surrounded by a chrome ring. When the backlight shines outwards from the bottom of your keyboard, you’ll notice it illuminates the chrome keys even more. This design makes it very difficult to see your keys when it’s lit up.
Overall Functionality
From a functionality standpoint, the STOGA typewriter keyboard missed the mark for us. In terms of design, the two identical dials located on the top right and left corners of the device made the overall keyboard control quite confusing. Each dial performed a different function (i.e click or click and turn) which required a lot of trial and error to figure out.
In addition, this keyboard did not come equipped with any legs to help prop it up to any sort of angle. With this, it presents some issues in comfort as well as visualization of the keys as the illumination of the backlight creates glare when laid flat on a surface.
