elling a 31,000 square foot mansion isn't easy, just ask NBA hall of famer Shaquille O'Neal. After almost 3 years of negotiations, price decreases, and compromises, an anonymous buyer purchased the mansion for $16.5 million according to the New York Post.

Shaq was originally asking for $28 million in 2018 for the mansion, and that isn't too surprising when one considers that the residence definitely has a place in the big man's heart. It was the very first home Shaq purchased back in 1993 for nearly $4 million dollars when he first entered the league and was playing for the Orlando Magic.

One of the earlier listings described the big man's abode like this:

"The astonishing estate was designed in lake views in mind for almost every room. Other highlights include gated entry, full house Creston technology, 17 plus car garages with showroom details, 3 fireplaces, walk in humidor and wine storages, two story ceilings, 15 feet in depth pool with rock wall water feature, summer kitchen, custom chef's kitchen, covered cabana and 10 foot privacy wall".

The mansion has 11.5 bathrooms and 12 bedrooms, countless memorabilia of Shaq's career which it is unknown whether the buyer will keep some of it or not, a 6000 square feet basketball court, a humongous swimming pool which contains a waterfall, an outdoor kitchen, a private dock, a cabana, a private movie theatre, and a 17 vehicle showroom.
