For being a homage this watch, at a glance, certainly looks very similar to the real deal. Of course, it is not without a few design changes.

Features

The Pladen watch features a similar waffle-textured blue dial like that of the authentic Nautilus and has a comparable metal bracelet complete with a deployment clasp. The quality and weight of this watch is reasonable for the price and does an adequate job of mimicking the overall look of the Patek. The variation of textures, both polished and brushed steel, are executed well overall.

This watch features a quartz movement, unlike the in-house automatic movement which a genuine Nautilus would have. It has surprisingly bright green-colored illumination on the second and hour hands as well as the hour indices so you will have no trouble telling the time in the dark.

The most significant visual difference this watch has when compared with the original Nautilus is the crown. Not necessarily a deal-breaker though as this seems to be the only major difference in styling when compared to the original.On the back of the case, we have an engraving that states this watch is waterproof, which is highly doubtful. It is not recommended that this watch be exposed to any sort of water as it is likely to break the movement inside.

Overall this Pladen homage to the Patek Phillipe Nautilus is very reasonable compared to many other homages to this particular model and makes a perfectly acceptable daily watch for those who want the look of a Nautilus without the high price tag.
