Well, buckle in because Carole Baskin is (potentially) going down for the disappearance of her former husband Don Lewis, who disappeared in 1997 and is presumed dead. An Independent Investigation
Don Lewis strangely disappeared after leaving his home in Tampa, Florida, one day before a trip to Costa Rica and was never found. His van was found near the airport and was declared legally dead in 2002. Two decades later, Attorney John Phillips held a news conference in Tampa, announcing an independent investigation into his disappearance.
Lewis and Baskin started the animal sanctuary in Tampa, which later became Big Cat Rescue Corp. Joe Exotic, the star of the Netflix docu-series, raises suspicions throughout the series that Baskin fed Lewis to the tigers. It’s no surprise that Baskin denied any and all allegations. Exotic is currently in jail after being sentenced to 22 years in prison for a murder-for-hire plot against her.
Justice for Don Lewis
The Lewis family remains worried that people are too scared to come forward with information.
'There is a lot of people who have information who are afraid to come forward … they are worried that if they come forward they will be charged for a crime,’ family spokesperson Jack Smith said.
Fingers crossed that with $100,000 on the table, someone will have the courage to come forward and provide the information to solve this case.

'Amazingly, our little family tragedy has become your tragedy. Our search for closure and truth has become your mission also,' she said. 'We all know by now that (Lewis) was not a perfect man. But do only the perfect among us deserve justice?'
Will Carole Baskin be Charged Guilty?
Baskin hasn't been charged with any crime and has repeatedly released statements refuting the accusations made in the series. She is now married to Howard Baskin.
The Lewis family is also targeting Kenny Farr, Don's handyman who starred in Tiger King, and a Susan Bradshaw, who witnessed the signing of Lewis' will. Here’s where things get sticky. Bradshaw told the Tampa Bay Times in 2005 that Baskin told her to say she was there for the will signing however she claims she was not. Did Baskin have something up her sleeve the entire time..?
